Burns Night at River Cottage

Anyone who can write a love poem to a haggis is worth commemorating, in our book, which is why we're delighted to announce an evening of Scottish revelry to celebrate Burns Night.

The festivities will be hosted by the River Cottage team alongside Ray Smith our River Cottage Butcher (pictured above). Ray, our meat maestro, will begin the evening by demonstrating the preparation and cooking of a haggis, served as one of your courses.

The evening will begin at 6pm with a warming nip of whisky, delivered to the strains of bagpipes. Then, following Ray and the Team's demonstrations, our River Cottage chefs will serve a four-course feast of haggis, neeps, tatties and many other Scottish-inspired delicacies of which, we're sure, Robbie Burns himself would very much approve.
