Board our dedicated River Cottage charter boats, and we'll head off to see what we can catch!
Heading out of Weymouth with Pat Carlin and Fraser Christian, you will spend the whole day out at sea. There will be two boats, each hosted by an expert fisherman from River Cottage and Pat's own crew, recognizable from our TV series. Fraser teaches our Introduction to Fish Skills & Cookery course and is an expert fisherman and cook, who will teach you how to gut, fillet, smoke and prepare the fish that you catch.
Once we have got you fully kitted out with bait and tackle, we will fish across several marks for a wide range of species which could include bass, pollack, bream and mackerel. Our endeavours will be fuelled by a delicious on-board brunch, prepared in the River Cottage kitchen.
During the day we will show you how to skin, gut and fillet the catch with an onboard fish skills session. We will also serve Sashimi as well as showing you how to hot smoke the fresh catch. Finding a sheltered spot we will anchor up for an onboard BBQ and a well deserved Stinger or two, dining on the best of the rest of our catch.
You will take home the fish caught and there will be prizes for the best catch.

We operate an E-ticket system so you will be sent an email confirmation of tickets purchased but no tickets in the post. You will also receive 2 emails - on with all the details you will need for the event, and another separate email confirming your payment.
