Learn Bread Making at River Cottage Cookery School

Spend the day mastering the craft of bread making at the River Cottage Cookery School, guided by our expert chefs.

Your day begins with our signature farmhouse loaf, the cornerstone of River Cottage baking. From there, you’ll explore a delicious variety of doughs and techniques.

Learn to bake soft, pillowy focaccia, prepare your own pizza dough for a wood fired lunch, and try your hand at sweet breads such as cinnamon doughnuts and rich chocolate brioche, before finishing the day with a quick and reliable soda bread perfect for teatime at home.

This hands-on bread making course will transform the way you think about baking. With expert tuition, inspiring recipes and a masterclass in pizza making, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to bake fresh bread from scratch every time.
