No matter the season, the farm is the perfect place to celebrate and dine with family and friends. Our chefs make the most of the season’s produce, harvesting directly from the abundant kitchen garden and plundering the spoils of the polytunnels. They create a daily six course menu* that incorporates the most delicious dishes from the homegrown and local ingredients available.
This long table feast is an ideal event to share with your family and friends, exploring the farm and enjoying views of the stunning Axe Valley. Once you are seated in the 18th century threshing barn, dinner is introduced by your chef for the evening before you eat, drink and relax.
We are internationally renowned for creating a constantly changing menu inspired by our SLOW ethos of ingredients that are Seasonal, Local, Organic and Wild: plants, meat and fish that have been foraged, grown, raised and caught either right here on the farm, or by nearby farmers, growers and artisans who share our passion for the finest provenance. Two of these organic growers, Trill Farm and Haye Farm, are our neighbours.
*We will endeavour to allow for any dietary requirements you may have, just make sure you let us know when booking.
We kindly request you book for your entire party in one transaction so we can seat you together.
Are you coming with a group of 10 or more? Did you know we offer private dining packages?

Head to the courtyard where you'll be greeted, then have a wander around our kitchen garden before taking your seats in our threshing barn for an approximate 19:00 start. Our team will start serving drinks form 18:30 onwards.
As you settle in, your chef will introduce the menu and tell you more about our philosophy, the food’s provenance and how the dishes have been prepared.
You’ll be treated to six courses of fantastic local and seasonal produce, planned on the day to showcase the freshest and the best.
At the end of service feel free to take a stroll back up the hill to walk off the indulgent supper or for anyone who needs it, we can happily give you a ride in one of our farm Land Rovers.
We source our drinks as judiciously as our food. Our extensive drinks list will be available for you to try our own River Cottage range of organic Ciders, Beers and Kombuchas, and a carefully curated wine list of mostly organic and biodynamic wines. If you want some direction from our team, there's bound to be some suggested gems that pair perfectly with the days' menu and a seasonal cocktail or two, do ask them when they come around to take your drinks orders.
