We’re proud to offer the River Cottage Chef’s Table, a seven-course feast crafted by our Head Chef and talented kitchen team, celebrating the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from our farm, gardens, and trusted local artisans.

You will dine in our stunning 18th-century threshing barn, where our chefs will introduce each course and share the story of the ingredients behind it. Curated drink pairings include organic wines, River Cottage beers, ciders, and locally crafted spirits, enhancing every bite.

Every course follows our SLOW ethos, celebrating Seasonal, Local, Organic and Wild produce to ensure each dish showcases the very best of the season.

Is this event suitable for me? We can accommodate some food intolerances and allergies at our dining events, providing that these are mentioned when you make your reservation. Dietary accommodations we can make include those for vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian diets, those who are pregnant, and those with dairy, gluten, nut or shellfish allergies (we recommend you bring your epi pen). However, we cannot cater to dislikes, or to any dietary restrictions that we feel may compromise our ethos or high standard of our menus. Your River Cottage experience begins the moment you arrive at the top of the hill at 7:15 pm. From there, you’ll be guided down to the heart of the farm by our friendly team. On a beautiful evening, you can enjoy a leisurely 10-minute stroll along scenic pathways, fully immersing yourself in the breathtaking views of the valley as you make your way down to the farm.

Meet the talented chefs who will be guiding you through your evening and enjoy a seasonal cocktail as you explore the kitchen garden and take in the beauty of your surroundings.

MAIN EVENT

You'll enjoy 7 courses featuring exceptional local and seasonal produce, crafted daily to showcase the very best from our garden and local suppliers. As you dine, your chef host will guide you through the story behind each dish, sharing insights into its provenance, preparation, and the philosophy that makes River Cottage so special.

DRINKS

Your meal will be paired with carefully selected drinks to complement each dish. Just as we’re selective with our ingredients, we offer our own River Cottage range of organic ciders, beers, and kombuchas, alongside a curated wine list featuring 100% organic and biodynamic wines.
