About the Role

River Cottage is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join the team at our HQ in Axminster.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our vibrant hospitality team, whether working in the River Cottage Kitchen & Store café, welcoming guests at our dining events, supporting our cookery school, or helping deliver unforgettable weddings and private celebrations.

We pride ourselves on offering outstanding customer service and are looking for a friendly, committed individual who enjoys working in a busy, dynamic environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude

  • Confidence in delivering excellent customer service

  • Experience in hospitality is desirable (barista skills, wine knowledge, or cocktail making are a bonus)

  • Commitment to sustainable and ethical food practices

  • Reliable transport to our rural HQ location (between Axminster & Lyme Regis)

  • A driving licence is desirable, but not essential

Work Schedule

  • Part-time, permanent role (minimum 8 hours per week)

  • Flexible daytime, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts

  • Weekend availability required

In person at River Cottage HQ (Axminster, EX13 8TB)
